Advisory & implementation

Rent the team that built the platform.

Some problems do not need a subscription — they need a senior engineer who has already solved them. Straventa sells its payments, identity, and reconciliation engineering directly, by the hour, by the day, or on a fixed-scope sprint. The same people who build and run the platform do the work.

How you buy it

Three shapes, one rate card

Pick the shape that matches the problem. All three draw on the same senior engineers and the same rate card — the difference is how the time is committed.

Hourly advisory

Billed hourly, no minimum retainer

A working session with the engineer who owns the domain — architecture review, vendor selection, a design you want torn apart before you commit to it. No slides, no discovery phase.

  • Recorded working session with a named engineer
  • Written recommendation with the trade-offs stated
  • Follow-up questions answered in writing for two weeks

Best for: A specific decision you need to get right once

Fixed-scope sprint

Quoted per sprint, priced from the day rate

A bounded implementation with an agreed acceptance test up front: an SSO cutover, a reconciliation model, a settlement integration, an on-premise deployment. You know the price before it starts.

  • Written scope and acceptance criteria before any invoice
  • Implementation, tests, and runbook — handed over, not held
  • Fixed price; overruns on our estimate are our cost, not yours

Best for: A defined piece of work with a definition of done

Embedded retainer

Reserved days per month, rolling

A reserved block of senior engineering days each month, drawn down as you need them. Your team keeps ownership; we supply the depth on payments, identity, and reconciliation that is genuinely hard to hire in Indonesia.

  • Reserved capacity with an agreed response window
  • Code review and design review on your own pull requests
  • Unused days roll forward within the contract term

Best for: An in-house team that needs depth it cannot hire yet

What we are actually good at

Four practices, not a generic consultancy

We sell the domains we run in production every day. If your problem is outside them, we will tell you on the call rather than learn on your budget.

Identity & SSO migration

Moving an application estate onto a single OpenID Connect issuer — off Okta, off Entra ID, off an unsupported Keycloak, or off per-app user tables.

  • Application inventory and cutover ordering
  • OIDC relying-party integration, app by app
  • Coexistence with an existing Active Directory domain
  • Step-up MFA and session policy design

On-premise deployment

Standing the platform up inside your own infrastructure, in your own change-management process, with your own operations team owning it afterwards.

  • Kubernetes or Docker deployment and hardening
  • High availability, backup, and restore rehearsal
  • Air-gapped and restricted-egress environments
  • Handover runbook and operator training

Reconciliation & settlement design

The part of payments that quietly consumes a finance team. Modelling how money actually moves through your rails, then making the break report short.

  • Multi-rail reconciliation modelling
  • Settlement and payout flow design
  • Maker-checker and segregation-of-duties controls
  • Migration off spreadsheet reconciliation

Compliance-readiness engineering

Engineering work that makes an audit survivable: mapping a control framework onto real systems and producing the evidence, so the answer to an examiner is a query rather than a project.

  • Control mapping onto existing systems and gap analysis
  • Audit-evidence pipelines and immutable audit trails
  • Data-residency architecture for UU PDP 27/2022
  • Access-review and privileged-access tooling

How it is priced

Hourly for advisory, a day rate for sprints and retainers, quoted per engagement against scope and seniority. Rates are provided on the scoping call — bring the problem and we will tell you what it costs before you commit to anything.

  • No discovery phase billed before you have a scope and a number
  • Fixed-scope work is fixed price — our estimate risk, not yours
  • Engagements are invoiced in IDR; contracts are Indonesian-law

What this is not

This is senior engineering, not regulated professional advice. Straventa does not provide legal opinions, licence-application advisory (PJP or otherwise), or statutory audit services, and nothing here should be read as a substitute for your counsel, your compliance officer, or your appointed auditor. Where an engagement touches a control framework, we build and evidence the controls — your compliance function owns the position taken.

Read the security posture

Tell us the problem, not the solution.

A scoping call is a working conversation with the engineer who would do the work. If the answer is that you do not need us, we will say so on the call.
