Project Management

Straventa runs a self-hosted instance of Plane — issues, cycles, and modules for planning and tracking work, hosted on your own infrastructure.

At a glance

Self-hosted project management, powered by Plane.

Project Management is powered by Plane, an open-source tool Straventa self-hosts — not a Straventa-built product.

What it does

Built for the work, end to end

Issues & sub-issues
Track work as issues with sub-issues, states, and assignees.
Cycles
Time-boxed cycles (sprints) to plan and ship in iterations.
Modules
Group related issues into modules to track larger pieces of work.
Multiple views
View work as a board, list, or calendar.
Self-hosted
Runs on your own infrastructure at plane.straventa.com.
Pages & docs
Keep project wikis and documents alongside the work with Plane Pages.
How it works

From kick-off to day-to-day

1
Get access
Sign in to the Straventa-hosted Plane instance at plane.straventa.com.
2
Plan the work
Create projects, break work into issues and modules, and schedule cycles.
3
Track to done
Move issues across states on the board and close out each cycle.

How it compares

Self-hosted Plane, operated for you — vs the per-seat trackers

Straventa's Project Management line is Plane, an open-source project tracker that Straventa self-hosts and operates. Straventa did not build Plane and does not claim it — what you are buying is the deployment, the upgrades, the backups, and someone who answers when it breaks, on infrastructure you can put in Indonesia. The alternatives an Indonesian team actually shortlists are Jira, Asana, ClickUp, or running the same open source themselves.

How it is priced

Jira, Asana, and ClickUp charge for every person you add; Straventa charges for the deployment, and what you are paying for is operating an open-source tracker properly rather than renting seats.

Billing model

Per deployment — on request

  • No published list price. The Straventa price catalogue covers the Payops modules only — Project Management is quoted per deployment, on request.
  • Jira, Asana, and ClickUp all bill per user per month, so the invoice grows every time you add a contractor, a client stakeholder, or someone who only needs read access.
  • Plane itself is open source, so the licence is not what you are paying for: the cost is the deployment, the upgrades, the backups, and a named engineer who answers.
  • Straventa does not claim Plane as its own product. If you already have a platform team that would rather run it themselves, that is a legitimate answer and we will say so.
  • On-premise deployment inside your own infrastructure — Kubernetes or Docker, hardening, HA, backup and restore rehearsal, handover runbook — is a Straventa service engagement, scoped and priced separately.
